Pierce is a skill that allows a unit to deal further damage on all units in the same row of the main target, ignoring defensive skills such as Block and Spikes.
Associated with Order race, it usually deals little damage, but it can still be useful to trigger further defensive layers such as Mental Shield or to deal with very weak units without wasting powerful attack rolls on other units. As such, it allows to boost the effectiveness of units on the field.
Pierce units can be classified as Piercers or Pierce granters, based on who is the target of the effect.
These units are able to deal Pierce damage themselves. Brackets means the skill will be unlocked at higher levels.
